Booster seat for large toddler

I'm after a booster seat for my son who is 2 years old and is around 15/16kg. Most booster seats are a max weight of 15kg so I'm not sure what to get him! He's not yet tall enough to sit on the chair and I don't trust him to not fall off either.

You need a car seat that goes upto 25kg harness. Most are 18kg for the harness forward facing so watch out for those.

Theres a few extended rearfacing options and some forward facing options. Do you have a preference? I know rear facing is preferred till 4 years but I won’t judge if you would prefer forward.

Potential price point you are after too? There’s a few in the 100-200 price point and some great ones 300-500.

I think this is for a dining chair to sit at the table, not a car seat?

@Sagaris ahhh that would make more sense! This is why you shouldn’t read things quickly hahaha!

in that case I would say a Tripp trapp chair if you OP can afford one
