3YO saying Mummy all the time

My 3YO says Mummy all day long. It's really driving me mad and I end up snapping and shouting by the afternoon. When I say all day long, I really mean it... every few seconds she's saying it and asking me a question or just saying ummmmm and trying to think of something to say. Is there anything I can do to try to even just cut it down a bit??

Your 3 year old is behaving like a 3 year old.
I was hoping you'd say she was broken and I could still claim on the warranty “

Sorry, no. In 10 years though, maybe …..

This is probably not what you want to hear but I have an 8 month old DC and I can’t WAIT for the ‘mummy mummy’ stage. And the fact you said your DD says ‘mummy’ and then thinks of something to say 😫 I just think that’s so cute!

FTMummy yes I was thrilled when it first happened! Your baby learning to say “mummy” is a lovely moment.

however a few years down the line I bet you too will sometimes be like “Hmm What?”

Aw it's absolutely lovely when you hear them say Mama for the first time honestly! And I'll be thrilled to bits when my DD2 says it for the first time! But... do wish DD1 would rein it in a bit Grin I've gone with a PPs suggestion and had her call me Mrs Tiggywinkle all day yesterday and it was actually very cute Grin

Wait until they’re in their bedrooms, wearing headphones and shouting “MUM, MUM!” Twenty times per day..
Never “DAD!” 🤔
