28 degrees in 1 year old room

28 degrees in my toddlers room

He is sleeping with a nappy on and a 0.5 tog sleeping bag. Feels warm but not sweaty. Is he too warm? Should I just let him sleep in a nappy?

I'd say so

I remember this last year in the 40 degree heat! Just a nappy is a perfectly appriopriate layer.

I did have him in a sleeping bag because it's a sleep association, but I left it unzipped so it was only covering the top of his chest

Ugh my 13m room is also showing 28C. I had him in vest and 1.5tog last night but that's because I put a fan on as well (not directly on him) but didn't want him to get too cold. It's an absolute minefield!

As with PP, just a nappy is entirely appropriate. My (at the time) 5 month old existed in just his nappy for last year's heat wave. Atm (not sure what the temperature is in his room, but it is quite warm) he's wearing a nappy and a baby grow at night (though he'd probably be equally happy in a vest) with an oscillating fan too.

My toddler gets cooler arms than legs, which he seems to like uncovered (like me - I can't sleep without something on arms, but often keep legs out of covers), so I do nappy and top. But just nappy is fine too. So hot!!

My 10 month doesn't seem to like sleeping in just a nappy so she's in a short sleeve body suit in the same heat x
