So my son is 6. He has tried a few classes in the last year.
He went to singing and dancing and rugby but decided he didn't want to continue with these he wanted to do football.
So now he goes to football 4 times a week, the problem is even though he enjoys going and playing, even gets himself ready we have these bad behaviours.
So if someone tackles him and gets the ball he throws himself on the floor and gives up. We've tried positive encouragement and even booked him a 121 session which he loves every week.
The other thing is while the coach is talking to the other kids he is messing about and not listening.
He never stays still - he always has his hands messing with his nose picking it etc.
My husband thinks we should stop classes but I don't because he enjoys them, but I understand that it seems pointless because he isn't listening sometimes and he's getting mad in certain situations.
Thoughts? Any suggestions to help make the classes less stressful.
