Battles with DD6

I feel very drained by my DD6 and just looking for a bit of support. Examples of behaviour in 1 day:

  • refusing to get dressed. Eventually doing so with help.
  • when out to a roller skating park, deciding doesn’t like and sitting on side sulking. Refusing to go round with me whilst holding hand.
  • refusing to chose food for lunch, demanding some snack and then having a tantrum when said need a proper lunch.
  • at a friend’s house, refusing to leave when time to go home.
  • had a sore spot on face and when I tried to put cream on, refusing to let me and wanted to do herself. Fine but I had the cream on my finger already so wanted her to use that but she refused.
  • refusing to get out of the bath.
  • getting out of bed after bedtime.
  • etc etc

It’s just so draining! I know I probably have to change the way I’m dealing with things but even when I plan a nice day out - roller skating for example - it just seems like an uphill battle.

Sorry for the moan. Anyone dealing with similar?
