Fed up sounding like a fishwife as soon as I step out the door

My two just do not do anything the easy way or without a hoohaa. I feel like I'm constantly instructing them and telling them what to do and as such sound like a moaning old cowbag. It's getting that I can't be arsed going anywhere as it's just too stressful. I thought things would get easier but I'm scunnered (Scottish word for totally fed up and pissed off).

Yes I get fed up listening to my own voice, and cringe when I hear dd playing and she sounds like me.

Does it ever get easier . Having a glum week. They are just a bit full on just now. DH bought me lovely flowers for valentines day and 5 times DD has picked the petals off them. I have continually told her to stop it and she has been punished in different ways ... bribery, no pals round to play, not getting treats but today she did it again. Said she wanted to make the floor smell nice. I'm left with a vase of stalks now DS is being a little shit and the competition between the two is constant and they don't ever stop making a noise. It's like a barage of noise because they keep talking over each other. I'm quite strict when it comes to how to behave but I've totally had it with them this week and I'm tired.

Thankfully going away with the girls this weekend - hoorah
