we are combi feeding our 3 month old. Mostly breastfeeding but now with two formula feeds (to give me a break, allow my partner to feed, allow me to be away from baby for short time plus he’s such a hungry boy!)….
I tend to give one bottle around lunchtime and the other at bedtime which varies but generally between 8:15-9pm! This works really well for us but there’s one thing I’m unsure of and worried about over feeding… sometimes it works out that he will BF around 7pm after his bath but doesn’t seem ready for sleep. An hour or so later he’s asking for food again so this is when we give him the bottle and put him to bed… is this okay? I’m guessing as time goes on he may go to sleep earlier so we can do bath, bottle, bed. Tried to push bath time back but that doesn’t always work with us and he’s been grouchy in the bath if it’s too late!
