My 4 week old ds wont sleep in his cot at all.I have it next to the bed and have tried stroking him to sleep but he wakes up 20 mins later. He sleeps sometimes in the day in the moses basket downstairs but he is getting a little big for it.Any advice welcome cos at the moment he sleeps with me and only wakes once in the night for a feed, but he fell out of the bed a week ago so I would rather he was in a cot.Help please

Not sure if this will be much help but here goes:
Is your moses basket particularly small? My babies fit comfortably into the moses basket for a looooong time. I'd swaddle them up tight and snuggle them in. I put the moses basket into the cot.
Also, at 4weeks old my babies were mostly in bed with me, anyway, so that doesn't sound unusual to me. I would tuck the sheet under the baby so that s/he didn't fall out of bed.

He slept for 4 hours in the moses basket earlier and he has been asleep for an hour in it as I put it in the cot. Its a normal size basket,he is very long!!Anyway fingers crossed for tonight, hopefully I will have some will power.

I am lazy and would suggest getting a bed guard and continuing to cosleep...
