Dummy help

I have twins who are 12 weeks (but born at 32 weeks so only 4 weeks corrected).
They spent 6 weeks in nicu and were given dummies to help with their sucking reflex, and they now absolutely love them and won't settle without them.
The issue is, I spend all day and night putting them back in when they fall out! They try to get it back in themselves if they're still near their face but usually can't and they both will cry until I put it back in for them.

We are currently using the smallest mam dummies. Does anyone have a suggestion for a brand of dummy they'll be able to keep in better?
Or should I just take them away?

They love them so I feel a bit mean taking them away just because I don't like putting them back in constantly

First time mum so a bit clueless. Help!

I’m sure the advice is if they already have dummies to not take them away before 6 months due to a very slight SIDS increase. But please don’t take my word for it and check that out properly yourself.

Keep them.
We've all been through a phase of feeling like we're forever putting their dummies back in. But before you know it, they will actually do it themselves.

As pp, they are also a good aid against sids

Mam make a 2-6 month which is bigger than the newborn ones. They’re supposed to fall out when they fall asleep though- the sucking relaxes them, they fall asleep, the muscles relax and it falls out. Thankfully mine only woke once for a replace as doing it themselves won’t happen until 6-7 months so you have a while to go. But if it is that bad then I might be tempted to go cold turkey and ditch.

We were using the smallest mam ones as they were born 3lbs, but they are 7lbs now so I've just tonight swapped to the slightly bigger 0+ ones, they are still falling out, but maybe I should try the 2 to 6 months.
If they fall out when they're deeply asleep they're okay without them until they wake up, but they usually fall out before this and I'd estimate between the two of them I'm getting up at least 6 times a night to replace the dummies
