Feeding until she's sick

DD is 10 weeks old and EBF.

She's very fussy this week and is asking to feed all the time, which is fine and I'm happy to feed on demand, but she's feeding so much that she's being sick.

She has struggled with reflux anyway but this is different. She's bringing up large volumes of milk right after feeding and getting stomach pain from gas/being over full (I believe).

I've tried offering the dummy, but she rejects it when she realised there's no milk coming out.

Does anyone have any suggestions of how to comfort her without feeding or feed on demand but make her more comfortable?

Is she medicated for the reflux? Sounds like she’s wanting to feed to soothe the pain but then it’s causing her to overfeed and have gas pains.

We have tried baby gaviscon but it made her constipated so we stopped giving it.

Most days she doesn't seem too bothered by the reflux, but maybe worth giving it when she's fussier

Agree with above, sounds like she's overfeeding to sooth the discomfort of the reflux. Have you had your latch checked and your baby checked for tongue tie?

Babies with Cow's Milk Protein Allergy typically overfeed in an attempt to get comfort. They often confuse hunger for the pain of the protein.

I'm not saying it definitely is that but it's worth reading the link Flowers
