dd 10mth, has always been a excellent sleeper. easy to get to go off on her own always slept through. she recently had a virus and one night she had a very high temp (39) she just wanted to be held so thats what i did, now i think she has enjoyed that too much and will not settle unless i get her to sleep in my arms, and if she wakes up (which is every 1/2 hr!!) same thing only if i get her out and hold her then put her back when she has gone to sleep.

if i put her in slightly awake she screams... if i dont pick her up she screams, and i dont mean a normal cry she cries that bad she almost vomits and cant breathe at all!!in fact the first time she did this i thought she had asthma!!!took her 10 min to get her breathing back to normal.
i have tried cc doesnt work with her she just gets in such a state its unbelieveable!! tried pu/pd no good!!any ideas? or should i just ride the storm? today i havent let her nap apart from 1/2 hr and she only went off to sleep finally at 2.30am and was awake again at 5.30am... she had 1/2 hr all day thats it, and went to bed at 8pm.

please help because i really dont know what to do apart from never sleep again!!!

xx

you will sleep again, but I can't promise when. DT1 has only just gone to sleep, but she's in my arms and I have to wait for her to be completely asleep. Hardly slept for the last few weeks, sure that it will happen eventually. I only know this because I have older children and they sleep. Can't help, just wanted you to know that I'm also awake in my house. Here's hoping we sleep soon. Sad

indeed it was me. Toast was all that they would eat. I was convinced that it was teething. Have they any teeth? Have they buggery. 10months old tomorrow. Last night DT2 fell asleep in his playpen because I couldn't be ars*d to feed and rock and cajole and beg. Tonight he fell asleep in daddy's arms (about 10pm). Still considering offering them up on the swap thread either as a job lot or singly. Should we put the three of them into a room together at night and just leave them let them get on with it? Wink

finally asleep so gonna get a little something to eat and drink. DH desperate to go on ebay. Too tired to attempt sleep, especially as I know that they will wake up as soon as my head touches the pillow. Love them to pieces, but I can't wait until they get to the sleeping right through and settling themselves if they wake at all.

Kisses to you. Here's hoping for 5 hours. Not too much is it? Grin

Lockets, check back at 3.30am. If I'm online then they are yours. I'm not sure what I want in return. What've you got? Wink
