Just dropped DS off at nursery for the first time

He is 2 and never been away from family before. The nursery is wonderful and he has had some settling in sessions but had to be prised off me going in and I came home and had a little cry.

Please tell me he will settle, it's going to be the longest day ever!

Took DC2 2-3 months to settle when they started at 6 months. It was a total nightmare, for us and the daycare workers.

1 year now and absolutely loves it. It gets better.

They’ll be absolutely fine. If they’re anything like my daughter after a while they’ll cry when you come to pick them up and shout ‘no home.’ Which is fun

He will settle, he will have fun, and in time he'll love going and make friends.
