Hi everyone, my DD has her first lot of vaccinations tomorrow and I just have a couple of questions so I can try to prepare myself as I'm a bit nervous!

How many injections do they have, is it 1 or 2?

How was your little one after their jabs? Were they irritable, upset or just tired?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

One in each leg, and an oral medecine to swallow.

Every baby is different; mine slept pretty much all day and night afterwards, then was grumpy for 2 weeks with broken sleep.

As above - 2. It was in the middle of the heatwave which didn't help things.
Had a raging tempreture for about 24 hrs and quite upset for about a day.

Calpol and cuddles ❤️ and he was back to himself after about 48 hrs

My daughter was fine during the actual injections, I bf her during and she didn't even cry. But afterwards she did get a temperature. I think it was the meningitis part of the vaccination because the same thing happened at her 16 week ones too.

Lots of children don't get a temperature though, and you can give calpol afterwards if you want to.
