Lucky you!
Sounds like it working for you.
My 2.9 year old wouldn't sleep until 9ish if she slept in the afternoon. I'd prefer your kid haha.

Christ no she'd never go bed if she still had regular naps

My DC have all napped in the afternoon until they started school (and they're old in the year). My just-turned-3-year-old naps for 2-3 hours in the late afternoon, wakes for dinner and then bed at 8/8.30 and wakes at 7am ish. Works for him!

My 3yo is the same age as yours (an April birth) and I find he'd really struggle to get to the end of the day without some kind of nap. Unusually, he could even have it (30-40 mins) the morning about 11ish and then last for the rest of the day until bedtime, but it usually has to be in the car!

No. Ds recently turned 3. He hasn’t really napped since last summer just after he turned 2. Only really on long car journeys.

He typically goes to bed at 9pm, still takes ages to sleep, wakes overnight, and is awake by 6am.
He fell asleep in car at 4pm today for 20 mins. It’s 9pm here and he’s absolutely not tired at all, we will be Lucky if he’s sleeping by 11pm
