Hi guys my 11 month old baby boy is going through the phases at the minute he has become really clingy towards me if someone else picks him up he will cry in open arms wanting me even if his daddy has got him he will want me when I go out of a room he will cry until I come in he is crying more often no reason really if someone familiar goes to pick him up and if I'm next to him he will cry and grab me or something asif to say no he wants mummy I don't know if this is separation anxiety or something going on with him developmentally he isn't walking or crawling yet so people have said that he might just be frustrated but that doesn't explain why he's so clingy towards me at the minute has anyone else gone through this please tell me it doesn't last forever don't get me wrong I love my baby with every bean in my soul and I'd do anything for that boy it's just I can't even leave the room to go to the toilet without him crying!

I'm experiencing exactly the same with my nine month old, it's exhausting, my DH is currently on paternity leave, and she's ok with him when I'm at work, but weekends and evenings she has to be with me. My Mum had her for 45 mins when I popped out to run some errands yesterday and she screamed the whole time, meant to be going to a wedding in three weeks and my parents having her and her sister overnight, but just can't see if happening. Sorry, no advice, but I feel your pain

Well it's nice to know that im not alone and at least 1 person can understand what im going through yes it is draining if my baby could be joined at the hip with me all day im sure he would like that lol

again no advice but my sons been the same for the past few months, I do my cleaning with him in the sling, he won’t go to bed without being cradled and then when he wakes in the night I have to lie with him until he falls back to sleep and this happens multiple times a night. Spoke to my health visitor who said it should pass but tbh I’m at my wits end now and actually considering going back to work early just to get a break from him! I was supposed to be going back to work when he was two and we live on partners wage! For reference he is 9 months old, also not crawling or walking yet. I’m hoping that once he cracks that his independence will help but I’m not convinced. To add insult to injury he wakes up at 4am everyday sometimes even 3:30 and that is the start of the day so I am incredibly sleep deprived.
