I am going to dangle ds of the south downs by his little toe - or you could suggest alternatives

ha haa haa haa haa haa

ds2 has hit the "ZONE" at almost 15 years old

some teens his this ZONE earlier - some a little later.

my first son was EARLIER

i thought (ha haaa haa haa haa ha) that my quietly odd other son had missed it

oh no ( ha haa haa haa ha haa haa haa haa)

so this morning i try to use the phone and it doesn't work

the tv doesnt work

the internet doesnt work

dh phones Virgin media and ( unknown to me) they put a credit limit on your account. and ours had reached it through the phone bill

whilst they couldnt tell us the numbers over the phone they could tell us that the bill was £137 ( for a month) and that most of that was mobile numbers. the longest being 92 mins.( ha haa ahem )

if this was 1975 i swear to god i would probably kick his arse up the fucking street and back.

as its not and i am 'enlightened' with regards to child cruelty, i wondered if you could suggest your own ways

i am going to cut the plugs of everything he owns- i think

suggestions welcome.

Don't cut the plugs off - sell them on ebay

Desiderata · 20/02/2008 18:12

Dangle him by the big toe. It's a better grip.

MrsTittleMouse · 20/02/2008 18:14

Make him pay for it out of his pocket money/job and then organise that thing where you have to enter a code to dial anything other than a local number.
Once you've finished the dangling, that is.

Tortington · 20/02/2008 18:30

custardo, just to make you feel worse, my Ds didnt go into this phase (and that was phone bill too) until he was 15 ................ he didnt come out of it till he got married at 26!

And there was alot of 'Kevin the Teenager' things he did in that time.

Tortington · 20/02/2008 18:37

CLASSIC - anyone who says mobile phones for teenagers are a bad thing, obviously hasn't experienced the joy at finding a punishment that actually works with a gobby little fuckwit badly behaved teen!!
