My 4yo has started spitting lately. Not in an aggressive way or at anyone. He will be playing with something and decide out of the blue he wants to spit on it... playing in the mud kitchen... I'll spit on that and mix it in....
He was playing with a car on a track.. he spits on the track just to see what happens.
I'm guessing it's his way of investigating or learning things but I've told him so many times it's dirty to spit, spreads germs etc.... he will just try and hide it or do it when I'm not looking
Any advice?
