11 month baby arching back and crying?

For the last few days my 11 month old DD has been arching her back quite forcefully and crying. It's happening off and on all day but not constantly but I'm worried she is in pain when it's happening and don't know what to do.

She is teething at the moment (her top teeth have been taking ages to come through) and also has a nasty cold with coughing and lots of snot so there's lots going on which could be bothering her. She has also been constipated a lot since weaning but the last few days her poo has been soft and sticky and quite smelly so there could be something digestive going on as well.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I just don't know what to do and how I can hep her feel better. Is this something you would contact a GP about?

My 11 month old DD is full of cold and has those blasted top teeth coming through at the moment too. He can behave a bit strangley when he's teething/unwell. Throws his head back, screams and has occasionally arched his back. It always seems to subside when he's better or the teeth have popped.

If no fever or other obvious sympyoms It sounds like it's just a reaction to the pain of the teeth or feeling a bit poorly - but I'm not a medical expert.

It doesn't hurt to call your GP (once you get past the gatekeeper receptionist ) and maybe just ask for a phone appointment yo air your concerns though

My DD has been doing the same @trrk right down to softer poo. It’s really annoying me. She is usually in great form. She doesn’t have a cold but I guess it’s possible she might be teething again. Watching to see if anyone can come up with something!
