So my 11mo has CMPA and we are currently on Aptamil Pepti 2.

We are going abroad as he is turning 1 and I don't know whether to wean him onto the Alpro growing up milk the week before we go away or leave it until we get back? Logistically it's fine as can pick up the growing up milk from Boots at the airport / take formula. Just not sure what is best for him?

25/06 - go on holiday
28/06 - baby turns 1
05/07 - return from holiday

I know it probably doesn't make much of a difference either way but HV has said for the last few months that milk feeds aren't important, which goes against all the guidelines I've read for the last year! Just want to know what others would do. TIA

Honestly I'd avoid changing anything on holiday or before. Just stick to what's working, enjoy the holiday and sort it when you get back 😊

I'd change it when you get back too, you don't want to upset anything just before you go.

Perhaps the HV is referring to the fact that they only need 400 ml a day between 10 and 12 months and should be mainly having solids?
