Heal scar/mark on 1 year olds forehead from fall

My 14 month old who's just learnt to walk not long ago fell and hit his forehead on a screw that was sticking out on a wheelchair about a week ago. This is the mark that's been left, anything I can apply to help it heal without it leaving a scar behind?

Bio oil is meant to be very good for scars.

Bio oil is a waste of time. If you really really want to do something try silicone gel.

However marks on faces heal really well. In 6 months that will be invisible if not sooner.

A while ago my children were scarred
i was told any oil- I used vitamin e oil - and to gently massage the skin. I think massaging the skin is key. My child had an awful scar. Now; it’s only just in a particular sunlight I can see it. Someone who doesn’t know wouldn’t.

It's definitely reduced but still there, the colour it had has faded. It's kind of left a little bit of a pitted scar which isn't visible unless you looked closely/in a certain light. I know it's there so I guess I just notice it more and it still upsets me. Hopefully it goes away over time!

Mine had identical scar at similar age and it is barely visible age 5. Really upset me at the time but now it isn't noticeable
