Toddler teeth, dummy Vs bottle

Any dental experts?

DD who's 2 has never had a dummy, was combi fed for 5 months now just on a morning and evening bottle. Her teeth are brushed very well after both bottles.

So aside from hygiene issues as there are none due to teeth brushing before bed and after breakfast....

Are there any issues? I've read about overbites but really on 2 bottles?!

What about kids who still have dummies 90% of the time, surely that's really bad for their teeth!

I don't think you need to make it into a debate about dummies vs bottles.

What does her dentist say?

My 2 both stopped bottles at 2 but both had dummies till 3.
They both did have a bit of an over bite with the dummies but Terri have gone back now and no over bite.

The dentist told me they should stop all dummies and bottles by age 4 for them to not have a permanent over bite

@takealettermsjones well I find people judge more about the occasional bottle and don't seem to bat an eyelid at a dummy!
