Just been looking at their website. First looked at the age 5-7 which I thought was right as dd is 2.5 months off beem 7 and she's tall. Was supried to find the sizes to big and had to look at the 4-5 section.
Is size 12 just very small for a rising 7 year old given that she's on the 91st centile for height.
Do I need to watch her foot growth carefully as she may be due a huge spurt or that normal size.

My DS is 7 today. He is in a 11.5, but has been in since September so really needs checking. His trainers are 12s. He is not tall. My Mum got him some socks for his birthday (could see he was thrilled ) and they say 12.5-3.5 and are age 7-10.

Thanks for that dd been in the larger sock size for sometime. She also wears up to 8-9 clothes. Was size 10 1/2 when she started school and she now y2 so that 1 1/2 sizes bigger in 3 years. Plus she was not so tall when she started school.

dd is 7(almost 8) and her feet are size 1. A girl in her class who's 8 has size 4 feet!! although I think that's fairly unusual.
Ds's feet are size 11 and he's 5.6.

quickdrawmcgraw · 20/02/2008 12:15

wow mmj. Is he very tall?

But as shoe size got anthing to do with height
Both my sister 5'10 and my mother (was 5'10) have large feet size 9 but me and my other sister both near 5'8 have size 7 and size 8.
But I have a friend who's about 5'5 and she's got size 7 feet and a diiferent friend about my height with size 5 feet.

Just worked out she's 4 foot 1 which does seem that size 12 is very small. Correct me if I'm wrong

My DS1 is wearing size 10.5.
He is 3yrs old.

bozza · 20/02/2008 13:16

Maybe she is just about to grow. Going up only 1 1/2 sizes since starting school doesn't seem like much.

bozza · 20/02/2008 13:17

nippers my DD is 3 (4 in May) and she is in a 8.5.

JodieG1 · 20/02/2008 13:21

My dd is 6 in a few days and a size 11 and a half and ds1 4.4 is a size 10.

Bozza, DS1 is 4 in November, he has always had very long feet.
When he was born his feet didn't fit into the babygrows.
He is quite tall tho, takes after DH.
DS2 however is built more for comfort, like my side of the family.
He's in his second pair of shoes and they are still not as big as DS1s first pair.
