Stafford Park? I suppose it depends on which bit of the Midlands you're in Wink

Which bit of the Midlands?

Markeaton park springs to mind and I believe that opens this weekend.

Thank you, West Midlands but don't mind say an hour drive out

Not sure where in the mids you are but these are ones we've been to in the East mids:

Markeaton park near Derby has a big outdoor paddling pool plus a huge play area, bouncy castle, donkeys etc.

West park near long Eaton (derby/notts) has a nice splash pad right next to a play area and cafe.

Hall Leys park near matlock - not huge but the park is lovely, there's a little ride on train there certain days if the week.

My sons loved the big splash pad at Twycross zoo a few yrs ago.

If you are in the Worcestershire area then ghulevelt splash pad is fun and in lots of parkland with a big play park!

Walsall arboretum has a splash pad. Don’t be put off by it being in Walsall, it’s a really lovely park.

Oh we've been to the Hall Leys park at Matlock, it is lovely isn't it? Not as big as some of the others but still nice Wink

I second Gheluvelt Park - it's fab! We basically spend the whole summer holidays there.

It is - especially combined with a trip to Matlock Bath for fish & chips! 😊

I was going to say conkers. It would be great, but they don’t communicate when areas are shut and half the exhibits were broken when we went last weekend sadly.
