14 month old sleeping techniques

Hello all,

Just asking for some advice on how to get my 14mo to go to sleep in his cot, without leaving him to cry.

At bed time he falls asleep on us and we put him in his cot asleep, we've been doing this for ages now, and he's been sleeping through. Looking at transitioning now so he'll go to sleep on his own in his cot, I might be asking too much 🙈

Please no "you should have done this sooner" advice.

I’m a sleep training fan, but if he’s sleeping through I wouldn’t bother! Unless bedtime is taking you ages or there’s another issue.

It won’t be long till he’s in a proper bed when you can change to lying next to him. Then it’s an easy step to staying close by, ect.
