My son is 15, like most he loves his gaming. He went to school in year 7 and a few weeks later came home with confidence and swagger, I thought great my lad is happy and growing up.

However then a bit of bullying happened, knocked him a bit, however that was resolved.. then the lock downs!!

Since then he has struggled with communication with parents and grandparents. friends has totally diminished. He is spending his lunch times in the toilets not eating at school , any effort made to put food and drinks in his bag is found at home.
he has had a counsellor and school are involved.

Is anyone going through the same. I don’t know how to help my boy. How do I get him to socialise, I feel Iv tried every!!

Does he talk to others when gaming ?
Does he have any other hobbies at all that you can encourage ? Would he get a PT job ?

I do hear him talking sometimes.
he was great at football but didn’t want to give his weekend up as he wanted to game. He did have a day at a weekend job but it didn’t go well. It was with people he know but was very anxious and txt me the whole time.
