I'm an idiot and have a 3 year old who thinks he's waking up tomorrow and going to Legoland. All he's talked about all week is Legoland. He went to sleep talking about Legoland. I just didn't think it would be fully booked on a school day and it fucking is. We're on holiday down South and he's so bloody excited. I can't believe it!!

Where can I take him that isn't just pure disappointment after being promised Legoland? We've done Peppa Pig World already 😭

Does he know what Legoland actually is? Or could you take him somewhere else and call it Legoland? Like Thorpe Park or Chessington?

Newname47 · 25/05/2023 20:20

Yeah, it's an inset. Where down south are you?

ShirleyPhallus · 25/05/2023 20:22

How far are you from London and can you go to the big Lego shop in Leicester Square instead?

Hobbledown is wonderful for littlies! Or Paultons Park.

ohfuckedit · 25/05/2023 20:22

We're staying in the New Forest so not right by Legoland but he went in October and loved it so much he's gone on and on about going back. I'm hoping at his age he can be distracted! Oh I've fucked it haven't I!

Or up to Birmingham for the Lego Discover Centre 9r whatever it is called.

TrianglePlayer · 25/05/2023 20:24

Paultons is brilliant. He will love it. Peppa Pig World and tons of stuff to see and do.

TrianglePlayer · 25/05/2023 20:24

I would actually say Paultons park is better than Legoland. It’s a perfect opportunity for you. Not far from new forest at all.

Itsanotherhreatday · 25/05/2023 20:24

Phone them? They might have cancellations?

Overthebow · 25/05/2023 20:25

Chessington is good for young kids

Careerdilemma · 25/05/2023 20:25

Can you go on Saturday instead? With something else fun tomorrow?

SBAM · 25/05/2023 20:26

Would he be distracted by a trip to the beach? Bournemouth is lovely - there’s the ferris wheel, the upside down house, the aquarium, the amusements and the pier. Depending on where you are in the new forest that might not be too far?

Mysleepisbroken · 25/05/2023 22:11

Diggerland?

ohfuckedit · 25/05/2023 22:18

Chessington we went to on our way here! Diggerland closed on Fridays. Did Bournemouth yesterday. Will look into the rest! Thanks!

The New forest wildlife park is good for a day out.

Blueskies121 · 25/05/2023 22:51

If you're down that way Adventure Wonderland or Longdown Activity Farm?
