What to dress my baby in, in a carrier in the heat?

Baby is 4 months so too small for sunscreen. We are going away and she'll be in the carrier for alot of the time. We also do most outdoor naps in carrier at home. Now it's sunny and warm, what should she be wearing to keep her arms and legs protected? Sleepsuits are too warm, rompers all expose legs or arms - I can't seem to find anything all-in-one that covers arms and legs and is cooling (eg cotton or linen)

Obviously hat for the face coverage.

Thanks!

We used a UV umbrella when DD was little, and will do the same when DC2 is born next month. It's an arse to hold, but it worked well and she never burnt despite being walked for hours in the carrier during a very hot July

You should keep them out of the sun completely between 11 and 2. I used to put cream on anyway and then have a huge white muslin that I would tie onto the carrier to shade them and a big hat.

Thanks both. Yes we will be keeping her indoors between. 11-3. Didn't think of umbrella - we have a parasol for the pram so maybe that will work!
