Can I just leave?

Can a mother take her baby and leave a relationship if her and the father aren't married?

I'm talking just leave one day and go stay with my Mum. Am I allowed to do that?

Of course you can

Run

Nobody can stop you leaving. You would need to negotiate reasonable contact between the baby and her dad unless there are safety issues surrounding him.

Yes you can just leave, but you'll need to sort contact between the baby and the father.

I've seen you

ofcourse you can but he has the right to see his child if he is a safe parent and only if he is a safe parent. If thats something you don’t want he can take you to court. But leave if you are unhappy and he is making you unhappy.

Yes, but unless he's abusive you would have a conversation. If he is abusive, plan well.
