Hi I was after some advice please,
My daughter has a crush on a boy, but someone we dont know, has messaged her to stay away and leave him alone, which she has done, she got upset at school one day and her friends took her to the teacher and they explained what had been happening, and her said crush got pulled into the office and quizzed about the messages my daughter was receiving, we know it wasn't him as he isnt the type of boy to get someone to do that, so I went to school and told them so, and I messaged his mum to say we dont believe he would do that. But since all this has happened we feel like and getting treated like we are in the wrong and her crush and family are the victims, nothing was said to him it was all aimed at my daughter, we believe it was someone jealous maybe.

My advice would be keep out of your teenage (presumably) aged child's love life. Do you have a job? There's really no need for you to be involved.

I do keep out of it, but someone upset my daughter and she came to me upset that someone was sending nasty messages, and now she is thought as the one in the wrong and not the victim.

You should have just let the school handle it and you certainly shouldn’t have been messaging his mum.

You shouldn't have gone to the school to share your opinion. You had no useful information to share, just your feeling that it wasn't this boy.

Leave the school to it.

I was asked too
