Is this normal regarding less milk intake

Baby is nearly 8 months, has a few mouthfuls of food 2-3 times a day, but has really dropped her milk intake. She actually went onto dairy free milk about 3 weeks ago and now just doesn't seem very interested.
I don't know if it's the disgusting milk or just a coincedence and a natural thing what with weaning. She's having about 20oz a day now, she seems happy enough but it's me that's worrying as it's not like she's having big meals to fill her up!

Any experiences ?

20 floz is absolutely fine at this age, once she dips lower than that amount you'll need to start giving her a multivitamin.

Once she hits 10 months she'll only need 13.5 Felix a day so it sounds as though she's naturally dropping off her milk feeds Wink

Oh good so nothing to worry about then? It was just quite a drastic drop ! Is the multivitamin because she wouldn't be getting enough from the formula?

Yes Wink

If they're getting 29 Felix then they should be getting enough vitamins from the formula, once it drops below that amount they need the supplement Wink

Around 8 months my DS dropped milk intake. He's 11 months now and really doesn't care much for milk anymore at all -, much prefers just food! He is also dairy free milk and yes, it smells gross (never been brave enough to try it) but I think it is just the age they start dropping milk anyway. 20oz sounds all good.

Agree with the PP, all natural when they start having solids. Even just a tiny bit is a lot for their tummies. Just grab some multi vits and slip it in babys milk if it drops
