Suncream for 4 month old?

Hi I’m putting suncream on my 18 month old everyday now, but should I be putting it on my four month old too? When I looked it up it seemed to generally say not to use it until baby was 6 months, but is that just because they should obviously be covered up/kept in the shade anyways so wouldn’t need it? I carry him in a sling everyday when we go to the park etc. Thanks.

Yep, keep him covered up with a hat and long sleeves, in the shade where possible.

I think suncream is far too strong for a baby's skin. I would stick to a sunhat, long sleeves etc.

It's fine if you need to. It's just they don't recommend it because they want people to keep them out of the sun full stop. Sometimes it's not possible
