Is it too much?

Hi,
I’m hoping for kind messages please. Up until about 4 months ago, my dd (2yo) didn’t watch tv until 6pm before her bedtime. A couple of months ago, not only did she get chicken pox but I got Covid after that and then we had various chest infections etc. unfortunately tv just came on earlier and earlier as I was just so too ill to play with her.

Anyway, we are back to normal health now, - I’m 6months pregnant with my second and just find myself allowing the tv to be put on earlier than I would like. 4pm maybe? The trouble is I’m just so exhausted I don’t know what else to do!!

anyhow my question is this, I’ve noticed she has been a little madam recently, could this be because she’s having too much tv? She only watches Shaun the Sheep - genuinely that’s all she likes - but I’m worried I’m just turning her brain to mush and it’s why she’s been more difficult recently??

advice or anything would be really welcome

Thanks

Becoming a 'little madame' is likely just age related, 2 year olds can be hard work.

I wouldn't worry too much about the TV. If you are tired and pregnant again and you need a break just carry on as you are, it is very hard being pregnant and having a toddler x
