Newborn crazy question

My 3 week old has really good head control. I was standing holding him and using the other hand briefly to do something else and he swung his head back right back and forward and headbutted me. The left of his nasal bone hit my jaw. He didn't cry at all but I wonder could this had damaged his nose? No redness or swelling. Please be nice I have 2 under 25 months and sleep deprived.

The cartiedge won’t have hardened yet but you absolutely need to be supporting his head at this age.

I honestly wouldn't worry too much if no obvious sign of bruise/blood/reaction to the head but or discomfort. Everyone will say hold babies head etc but sometimes we aren't always able too! Babies bones are very soft at this age so if you notice any swelling etc get it checked out as best to be safe.
Don't beat yourself up - 2 under 2 - you're a super mum xx
