Car mirror that’s NOT on middle seat?

I bought a quite expensive light-up car mirror so I could see my baby from the front seats of the car, but it affixes to the middle seat headrest, and we’ve only just noticed ( 🙄) our middle seat doesn’t have a headrest.

Does anyone know of any mirrors that affix to the headrest in front of the child?

I'm confused, sorry - if it has the attachment to affix to the middle headrest, why won't it affix to a different headrest? If it's not an adjustable one, you could stick padding to the back of it to change the angle if needed?

cuggl one in argos is good. it has a big surface area. it doesn't light up though, we've never needed that although I guess you can't see the child much when it's dark

I thought this, but maybe the mirror is angled so as to point from middle to side so wouldn't work?

Most cars have a light in the back anyway

We just bought a basic one from amazon, pretty sure it was less than 20 quid and has been absolutely fine. Doesn't have lights though but I've not really seen the need for it as you don't tend to do a huge amount of night driving with a tiny baby!

You can normally put them on any headrest and just adjust the angle.

Have you tried putting it on that headrest?
