15 month old tip toe walking

My 15 month old son is constantly on his tip toes he isn't walking independently yet, he can cruise around on furniture which he's been doing since 12 months old but his balance is very wobbly.

Has anyone else had any experience with this?

Normal while they are finding their balance. Mine didn't when she first walked, then did more for a while arpund 15 months and sometimes does now at 19 months but less than previously.

My daughter walked at 10 months, that was on tip toes and lasted until she was 18months or so, maybe even closer to two. She ran on tip toes too lol

Thank you for some reassurance, it just looks so awkward and uncomfortable being on the tips of his toes.

Think it’s fairly common until around age 2. My DD started walking at 15 months and used to do it a lot but stopped around 2… although she does it now and then now (just turned 3) when she’s trying to hold her poop 🙄
