since birth had him in the tomee tippe grobags 0-3 and then 3-6 months. However he’s now too long for it and it’s even getting quite snug In the middle so ordered the 6-18 month and it absolutely drowns him! Realised he’s not even the minimum weight to use the next size by quite a while. Is there any sleeping bags that are not such a big size 6-18 month seems a big variation.

It says 6-18 month the minimum weight is 18 lb and 65-80 cm height. My son is now 69cm but not 18cm what to do buy and what to do in the meantime. Thank you in advance

The tommee tippee bags are soooo small (and quite expensive?), mine grew out of the 0-3 month one after about 7/8 weeks. Now we are just using sleep bags from sainsburys / john lewis, they are 0-6 month size I think but fit perfectly. Hope that helps.

You can get 6-12 month sleeping bags, so they’re not as massive as the 6-18 month ones. A search on eBay should bring some up

Yes they are very expensive! The 0-3 and 3-6 had poppers on the arms so could make it tighter when he was smaller but annoyingly the 6+ one doesn’t so I can’t make it more secure. Thank you for the advice will have a look online or drive to some supermarkets tomorrow

Thank you that would definitely help , 6-18 months just seems too big of a jump. Especially for a 4 month old 😂 will have a look on eBay now

Just ordered a 6-12 month from sainsburys that has poppers still too. So crossing fingers this fits ! Might have a drive to the supermarkets in the meantime

We had one tommee tippee grow bag and found life far easier (and cheaper) getting the sainsburys ones. Like you say their sizing is a bit awkward really. The supermarkets do various weights as well so you can get thinner ones for summer
