Best push along walker toys for 1 year old?

I'm thinking of buying a push along walker toy for a 1st birthday present for my DD (or before that if she starts pulling herself up earlier). Any recommendations on what your kids actually played with? I like something like the wooden ones from Little Dutch (eg https://www.kidly.co.uk/products/little-dutch/baby-walker-little-goose/19436?colour=white&utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gclid=CjwKCAjwge2iBhBBEiwAfXDBRxzqYkdQndLuFVhra4qT7CZkCYGEkVrX-XjWj3T3s6pUnFbUO1wHIBoCG1UQAvD_BwE) but do babies like them? My DD often seems to prefer plastic monstrosities that play annoying music like her jumperoo so not sure whether to go for a plasticy one with sounds and lights or the more expensive wooden ones.

Buy the Little Dutch Baby Walker - Little Goose at KIDLY UK

The Little Dutch Baby Walker - Little Goose - This chunky but charming wooden multi-activity walker gives your baby so many things to do and see.

We had the vTech one that everyone seems to have!

Got it second hand and passed it on after we'd finished with it. They're knocking about everywhere, have a look on FB marketplace or gumtree.

We had a wooden walker gifted to us and the v tech one. I must admit the vtech one got a lot more use. V tech are very stable and fulfil the walker part well. If I was buying the one you are looking at I think I'd want to see it in person to get a sense of weight/ stability/ how it would handle a kid trying to pull themselves up to standing on the bar.

I also have the one @takealettermsjones posted- actually had 2 both second hand, one at my dads and one at my grandparents- my DD's now 15 months and walking but still goes straight to play with it when at theirs now. It's good as well as you can take the front off for them to play with on the floor so doesn't always need to be used as just the walker xx

Mine had a vtech one - but never walked with it. Just played with the buttons and made phone calls 🤣
We had a traditional wooden one with blocks which did get a lot of use but she was always wanting to play at Stay and Play with one of those old fashioned ones where it's a stuffed animal on wheels.
I always wish I had bought her one.

But yes it is extremely noisy and annoying but that's what kids like unfortunately 😂

Thanks all for the advice! Looks like it might have to be the vtech one. I do like the ones with the cute soft toy dog to push along but wondered if the multi-functional ones with activities on the side would get more use overall. Probably overkill to get both types unless 2nd hand.

I know people who have the v tech ones and never put batteries in them... if you'd rather it didn't do the noisy flashy thing!

@Barleysugar86 that's a good point but my daughter just loved the phone and would just talk and talk and talk on the phone all day 😂
I still didn't get peace.

We've got one of the traditional wooden ones with blocks. Neither DD used it to learn to walk (the rolling seemed to unnerve them until they could walk on their own), but it's had huge amounts of use as a doll pram, shopping trolley, general transporter of stuff, and they've even ridden in it themselves.
