Where does baby sleep during day?

Hi all,

looking for some advice. Baby is 12 weeks old and currently naps on me during the day. We have a swing/seat he sits in during the day too but doesn’t fall asleep in it or wakes up if I put him in it asleep.

what do you use for baby to lay/sit in when they get too big for the swing downstairs?

is it just things like a sit me up seat for when they are a bit older? I want to try get in to nap downstairs on something so would it be like a travel cot downstairs as he is too big for Moses basket. From 6 months I will start putting him in his cot in our room and leaving him upstairs.

I was debating getting a high chair but one that reclines far and can be lowered to the floor but then that’s like another seat?

thanks

I had a Moses basket that stayed pristine.

Easiest thing is to use the pram.

Gosh it's all so complicated now , mine used to nap on the sofa with a cushion beside them 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Wouldn't be safe though, would it?

Baby could roll over and suffocate or fall off.

Don't be ridiculous it was perfectly safe , they had a cushion to stop them rolling off , and where do you think I was , the shops?
