Our 20 month old is generally happy and healthy, sociable and curious. However over the last month or so he has had increasing tendencies where he hits/pushes/grabs other children, both older and younger. Other children and parents are generally understanding though as you can imagine it can cause some upset.
This week we are on a package holiday with lots of other young children and he has been doing it a lot, to the extent we basically shadow his every move so we can step in to stop him hitting.
Has anyone else experienced this sort of behaviour and were there any long term issues? Do you have any advice for dealing with the behaviour when it arises?
FWIW his understanding of instructions etc is excellent but verbally he is middle of the road if not slightly behind for his age.
