Time between baby’s dinner and bedtime?

Just wondering how long most of you allow between baby’s dinner and bedtime when weaning to allow for digestion etc? We like to do a family dinner with DD eating a modified version of our food but it sometimes ends up being a bit later than I planned and then I’m not sure how long to allow before bed. DD is now 10 months so is actually taking in food rather than just playing with some veg while we eat.
