12 month jabs! Is this normal?

My little girl had her 12 month jabs yesterday. She was fine all day, got to evening and she had a temp of 37.5, was boiling, cranky. Just crying and crying. Today she's been much the same, not really fussed on food. But I've noticed now that her leg is like this. Is this normal?

Oh dear :( if I remember correctly mine was fine after his so maybe call 111? She may have suffered a reaction? Have you given her calpol as with some of the jabs they recommend calpol

Redness, swelling and tenderness at the injection is really normal. My little one still had a lump at the site of her MMR about 6 weeks later.

12 month jabs were the worst for both of mine in terms of crankiness, fever etc. That just looks like a bit of inflammation around the injection site, fairly common.

This looks ok to me. She would have had her first MMR and redness around the injection site is a common side effect. The temperature that she has is a immune response to her vaccine. Keep up the Calpol and monitor would be my advice but if you are concerned and your instinct tells you something isn't right then call GP

@Wavescrashingonthebeach yes! They actually said I didn't need to give calpol, but I did straight after the jabs and in the afternoon and before bed. And given her it today for her temp.

Thank you ladies💓 she's currently causing havoc and playing. It's a very up and down mood she's in😂

Bless her if she's playing she's hopefully feeling better. I hated all the jabs I think I cried more than him!!!!!

Yes. We've just had ours, much of the same.

Update ladies, she was a bit cranky the day after her jabs. Especially when the night time came around again, but then she woke up right as rain.

I'm glad there is a gap between the jabs now, I hate them. Think it makes me cry more than her🥲

Just remember for the 12 month jabs there can be a delay to some symptoms, can't remeber for which part! I think my son was hit with it around day 8/9 , including swelling of the glands and fever.
