Chicken pox?

Does this look like the start of chicken pox? Son has about 5/6 of these spots on his body, from over the last 4 days. They are not itchy at all and he's not unwell.

Are they turning into little blisters?

They could well be..my DD's looked like that but hers came up very quickly, one day there was about 4 like your picture next day she had them everywhere over her body. Your DC may have a mild case, as PP states if they are turning into blisters then it will be chicken pox.

Not that's I can see, it all seems a little odd to me compared to my daughter who it was very obvious when she had it. There are a bunch of children in his nursery with Chicken Pox so that's what's making me think it could be. But currently its not really following the traditional chicken pox guide.
