13 year old attention seeking?

Hello,

Really need some advice. I caught my 13 year old daughter yesterday on FaceTime with a man she met online. If this was a one off, I’d have words and move on but this has been going on for years. First started by talking to people online, even omegle which is some sort of perverted chat site. We put all blocks in place but she even unblocked this site by logging into the parental restrictions! We have removed her iPad but she has a phone and an Xbox. The main reason for her phone is so we can keep in contact with her when she’s out and at school and so she can talk with her friends. I have lost count of the amount of conversations I have had about talking to random men online but it appears she gets some sort of kick or has some sort of addiction to it. I am at my wits end with it all. I ask how she’s feeling, is she lonely, bored, feeling depressed and all I get is I’m fine. Anyone else in this situation or can offer any advise?

She's attention seeking, Jesus. I'd see it as her being groomed. Take her phone say and give her a Non smart phone and get the police involved before this escalates. She is at huge risk.

Agree with ClaraBourne

Speak to the school, speak to the police, speak to her friends' parents.

She will be furious, but she will be safe.

A crap phone and limited wifi too.

Why does she do it? This is more than attention seeking. Girls always want to grow up too quickly. Are you sure it’s a man btw? Teen boys voices do get quite deep around this age.
I’d sit down with her, really hammer it home how dangerous it is. I would also involve some sort of authority, school counsellor or teacher or doctor.
