Hi,

Hope you're all well.

We started sending our 2 year old to toddler nursery classes from 1pm to 6pm once a week.
My boy was fine at settling in sessions. I did not need to sit with him because he loved playing and toys are everywhere.

When it came to actually sending him to nursery he was upset the first few weeks crying at the start but would settle after a while. But over the last 4 sessions he Has been crying. We would get a call to pick him up after an hour of dropping him off.

Does it get better? How do I help my toddler to enjoy nursery. And not get a call to pick him up after an hour. We pay by the day even though we have to pick him up earlier. We cannot afford to send him more days.

We were advised by health visitor and speech therapist to send him nursery to interact with children and pick up communication skills .
