Baby not drooling, is this normal?

I’m not sure if this is normal or not, but I made the stupid decision of googling it and now I’m kind of freaking out on a bank holiday weekend, with no chance of getting a docs apt till next week!

My little one is almost 11 months old and has never really drooled. We’ve never had to wear bibs, keep cloths close by to wipe away drool. Nothing. Now this wasn’t really something I noticed till it came time to start weaning her and she struggled with food, gagged a lot. She got used to it eventually but now it’s even more noticeable as we try to introduce more solid foods. She has 2 teeth and even through the process of them spouting there was no drool.

Has anyone else experienced this? Other than that she has is a gorgeous happy healthy chubby little bubz.

"She is a gorgeous happy healthy chubby little bubz."

You said it!

Stop googling.

Why would you worry about this??

My son isn't a drooler. Bibs were a waste of money, and he has 18 teeth!

Never been a drooler here, apart from a couple of her molars at over 2 and by that stage she got herself a cloth/tissue and wiped her face. We had a drawer full of bibs that were a complete waste. I could barely tell she was teething, occasionally pink cheeks and then a couple of teeth appeared.

Neither of my were droolers at all, even when teething. I ended up with half a dozen totally pristine bibs to give away 😂 So don’t worry and enjoy your baby!

Drooling is so annoying, they are all different, DS1 didn't drool as much as the younger two, and DS3 drools the most. I think it's normal for there to be a variance.
