Am I giving my baby enough formula with his solids?

Hi all,
I did this 11 years ago with my eldest but I can't remember a thing about it and I'm now very anxious that my son won't get enough formula while he's weaning. He's 6 months old and started solids about 3 or 4 weeks ago. He's doing really well. Up until now, he's been having 6 bottles a day up to a total of 25-30oz alongside two small amounts of solids a day. He's naturally dropped his last bottle now and won't wake up for it so now he's down to 20-27oz depending on if he leaves any.
He's been showing signs of being hungry between some bottles so we introduced an extra solid in the morning as if I offer him any more formula, he's either sick or doesn't take it. He took really well to this so he's had 3 solid "meals" today alongside his bottles. However, at tea time his last meal was close to his bottle time and I've ended up feeding him quite close together, which I think has led to him being overfed and he's been very refluxy since. It feels like he might need to drop the tea time bottle as all the feeding is getting really close together. If I drop another bottle though, he'll only be having 18-24oz of formula per day. Does this seem like enough alongside his solids? I wanted to ask other's experiences before bothering the HV team.
Thanks in advance.

Maybe you need ro rejig your timing of food and milk so he isn't having both really close together

From 6 months a minimum of 20oz is recommended alongside food.

At that age mine had milk at 7, 11, 3, 7 roughly and food at 8, 12 and 5.

@dementedpixie I've tried to do that but he still seems to be getting too full at tea time.
He's having milk at 6.00, 9.30/10, 13.30, 17.00 and 19.30/20.00 approx. Solids at 7.30, 12.00 and 16.00. It's the 17.00 bottle he's starting to be too full for so I don't know whether to drop it and just have 4x6oz per day. If he takes the full bottles it would be fine at 24oz but sometimes he leaves some which is why I've tried to keep that extra fifth bottle in.

I was told by a dietician to introduce a third meal a day at 9 months and to give milk and hour to and hour half before food.

At 6m mine was having 4x 7oz bottles a day, and only 1 solids. We went up to 2 solids at 7 and a bit months, and I didn't get the hang of 3 meals a day til close to 9m. At 9m he was on 4x 8oz bottles a day, then dropped to 3x 8oz at 10m, and is still on that now at nearly 1.

If it was me I'd probably drop a solid feeding and prioritise the bottle feeds for another month or two before dropping a bottle.
