Leaving children

What age do you think it is alright to leave a child over night in their own home. My daughter is 16

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think it entirely depends on the DC, sorry @Mumof3gir.

My DC1 I would have trusted at that age. DC2 is a wholly different personality and I'm pretty sure she'll be about 25 before I can begin to trust her overnight!

Depends on the child. I'm pretty sure I was left overnight at that age and it was fine. My sister left one of my nephews at a similar age and it took two days, a plasterer and a new carpet to clean up!!

Sounds like some party!

Depends on the child - I was left at 16, my oldest sister wasn't! One of us would have thrown a house party and it wasn't me
