Just feeling really sad tonight

My so. Is 6 and these past couple of weeks I've noticed such a change in him.
He doesn't want to give me a kiss at school, he wrote "I love mummy" on paper but then crossed it out when I said I was going to keep it as he was embarrassed etc etc.
He's always been a mummy's boy. Endearingly immature. But he's growing up, more into his switch and YouTube videos.
I just feel so sad as I miss my little boy who was proud to be a mummy's boy :(

Your relationship may change, but you will always be his mummy

If it makes you feel better my DD went through a phase like this about 6 but is now nearly 11 and back to being a total mummy’s girl, loving cuddles and kisses. I think they often go through phases as they get bigger.

I remember being totally heartbroken the first time she refused to kiss me goodbye at the school gate.

It's awful isn't it.
My youngest is having a terrible two tantrum phase and life has just been quite difficult as a result of it. My eldest has been so patient and happy to play on his switch/toys but now I feel like I've lost him to it!
The school avoidance is horrible :(

God I sound dramatic don't I!
