Colic at 12 weeks?

My DS turned 12 weeks a few days ago.

Since he was born, he has always been fussy/crying in the evenings. Nothing we do seemed to help do we assumed it was colic.

As time has gone on, the number of hours he spends crying has decreased, but he is still unsettled. A lot of sources say this should ease by 12 weeks.

Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice?

Unfortunately your child did not get the memo that he's supposed to have grown out of it by now! He will eventually, don't worry. There are very few grown ups who cry and are fussy every evening.
