NB: I never shout or scream, I never ever ever will hit.

Im quite an anxious person and lately I’m struggle with the stage my DS is at, he’s 16mo and walking but of course wobbly and forgets he probably shouldn’t run! His balance is getting better though but the lack of sense of danger really panics me he’ll try and open cupboard doors and shut them while hands still in - all the normal toddler stuff

i feel like I’m bad with patience. I sometimes use a stern tone and when I’m panicked usually “DS come here” “ds come back” “don’t do that it’s dangerous” (I say his name instead of ds) and I sit back and reflect and he doesn’t get it! Im sure if he had a sense of danger he wouldn’t do these things he’s so young

i feel my anxiousness makes me less fun as a parent and I want to be better - how do I have patience with the very tumbly chaotic stage
